I uploaded a pic this week – a quote from Buddha – saying, “The trouble is, you think you have time.”
Hmmm. Yes. I can see how that’s a trouble!
How many times have you put things off until tomorrow because you think you had time, only to have other ‘things’ get in the way? How often are those things then left over to the next week, then the next, then the next?
And how many of us have lived on Someday Isle? You know Someday Isle. Where your mantra is “someday I will”… and it never comes to fruition. Hanging out on this island only serves one purpose – to keep us in the same place.
See – the trouble is – you think you have time.
We all do.
But in this year of the Horse especially, when everything is galloping at such a rapid pace, it won’t take long before we’re looking back, scratching our heads and going, “Geez, where did that year go?”
Do you want that to be you?
No?
Ok, well, let’s visit a different isle. The Make Magic Happen Isle. This is an isle where presence and action are everything. This is an isle where vision is not simply about the future – it becomes a part of the now. It becomes a reality.
Entry requirements to the Make Magic Happen Isle are as follows;
- An honest assessment of all your Someday Isle activities
- A willingness to research Someday Isle activities
- A plan to put viable Someday Isle activities into action on Make Magic Happen Isle. (Only you will know what activities are viable)
- A willingness to drop your Someday Isle holiday attitude and enjoy basking in the motivation and innovation attitude of Make Magic Happen Isle
Ready? Set? Let’s go!
With love
Lynda

Hi Lynda, thank so much for writing this, you have no idea how I relate to this!!
You’re so welcome Julie! I’m so glad it resonates!
Yes, this is one of the truest things in life. PS This year is almost half-way done!
Glad it resonated Anneka. And I know! A tad scary, isn’t it? x
